Cambridge Backyard Chickens
Sam keeps a small backyard flock in a Cambridge garden, hatching chicks from fertilised eggs laid by the hens themselves. Day-old chicks, young pullets, point-of-lay hens and hatching eggs come available in batches through the season, each one posted on the website, and reservations are taken for hatchings still to come. Anyone collecting chicks under two weeks old must confirm a heater or brooder is waiting at home. Fertile runner duck eggs come from a friend and are collected from a separate address. Collection is by appointment only, arranged by WhatsApp or email.
