Weeks Turkeys – Free Range Bronze Christmas Turkeys
Weeks Turkeys sells free range bronze Christmas turkeys direct from Laylands Farm near Downham, where turkeys have been reared for more than 70 years using the same traditional methods. The birds are fed a cereal based diet milled by a local Essex feed mill, with many of the ingredients, such as wheat, grown on Essex farms, and all of the rations meet the Traditional Farm-fresh Turkey Association assurance scheme and the Universal Feed Assurance Scheme. Each oven ready bird comes in the farm's own carry home box with a sprig of rosemary, a pop-up timer and a leaflet of cooking and storage instructions. The business has no website on record.
