The ELF Bothy at East Lugtonridge Farm
Gordon and Louise Walker run the ELF Bothy at East Lugtonridge Farm near Beith, a family farm established in 2013. They rear native cattle breeds slowly to build flavour and marbling, using traditional methods before the animals go to a trusted local butcher for processing. A small farm shop on site sells the farm's own beef alongside fruit and vegetables every Friday and Saturday. The farm holds Quality Meat Scotland accreditation and PGI-brand licensing.
