Llŷn Alpacas
Llŷn Alpacas is a smallholding on the Llŷn peninsula that has bred alpacas since 2010, starting with three pregnant females bought from a farm in Devon. The herd grew quickly, and the farm later bought its own stud rather than sending females elsewhere to breed. The alpacas are sheared once a year, and the fibre is cleaned, processed and hand spun before being sold in its various stages from a shop in Pwllheli. The farm itself is not open to visitors.
