Flight and Flow Aerial Yoga
Laura teaches aerial yoga in Brighton and Hove, using a low-slung silk hammock that keeps beginners and intermediate students only a few feet off the ground. Flight and Flow's classes carry the alignment and technique of mat yoga into the hammock, which takes the body's weight so that stretches deepen and otherwise restricted postures open up. She qualified as a yoga teacher in India, teaches Hatha, Vinyasa and Ashtanga, and brings pranayama breathing and yoga therapy into the aerial sessions. Her aerial training came from a London teacher-training school and covered rigging and safety in the sling.
