Threlfall's Farm Dairies in Blackburn has processed milk from its own herd since William Haworth Threlfall began delivering it by horse and cart in the early 1900s. The farm is now run by fourth-generation farmer Paul Threlfall alongside third-generation Thomas Edward Threlfall, from Holt Farm in Rishton. Whole, semi-skimmed and skimmed milk are bottled in the farm's own dairy in plastic and glass, alongside double cream, whipping cream and pressed apple and orange juice. The dairy holds Red Tractor and SALSA accreditation, giving full traceability from herd to doorstep.
