Church Street Workshops
Wheel-thrown stoneware vases, jugs, mugs, butter dishes and birdbaths come from ceramicist Lesley McShea's Church Street Workshops in Stoke Newington, London. She works mostly on the wheel with grogged stoneware clay, adding press-moulded textures and distressed surfaces set against bright, crystalline glazes. Pieces range from huggable handpainted mugs to elevated stemmed vessels, sconces, candle bowls and large garden birdbaths. She also runs pottery tuition and classes.
