Why these local providers are here
Understead exists to make the independent people doing things in Ringmer easier to find.
The teacher using a village hall, the instructor building a small school, the maker opening their workshop and the sole trader teaching from home can all be easy to miss beside national brands, large institutions and platforms with much bigger reach.
Together they are part of what makes Ringmer somewhere people can participate in rather than simply live beside.
Finding them, using them and telling other people about them helps keep that independent local life viable.
Skills such as sewing, repair and textile work survive because people continue teaching them. Understead makes the independent people carrying that knowledge easier to find locally.

Keep your own website, contact details, socials and booking routes. Keep your information accurate. Let people nearby find you directly.
Your place here should come from what you do and where you do it, not from how much you're prepared to pay for visibility.
