Rachael Plassard
Rachael Plassard makes handmade silver and gold jewellery from her studio at Hotwalls Studios in Old Portsmouth. She works with traditional goldsmithing techniques including etching, saw piercing and keum boo, creating one-of-a-kind pieces inspired by historical ornament such as acanthus leaves and decorative architectural motifs. Alongside her collections, she teaches small-group workshops where beginners learn to solder, saw, file and polish, and leave with a piece they have made.
