Producer in Test Valley, Hampshire
Claire Gaudion
From her home on the Hampshire-Wiltshire border, Claire Gaudion weaves traditional Guernsey willow baskets, a heritage craft passed down through her family. She makes Guernsey fishing baskets, including the Ponier à Cou, the Courge, and crab and lobster pots, and sells them through her online shop. Claire also runs basket making workshops, teaching and demonstrating the craft she learned from her father, a retired Guernsey fisherman.
