Walks of around 8 to 10 kilometres, or 5 to 6 miles, taking between two and two and a half hours, occasionally with some climbs and often with stiles. Walks are usually in rural areas, and the group tries to keep the start no more than a 45 minute drive from Fleet. This group walks every two weeks, setting off at 10am on Friday mornings.
- What to bring No special clothing is required, but walkers need a pair of boots or shoes designed for walking. Mud can be expected on some paths in winter.
- Who it is for The walking groups are popular, so there is sometimes a waiting list, but the branch asks anyone interested to say so.
