Meets: Monthly on Thursday afternoons 1:30 pm-2:30 pm 1st Thursday
Where: Whickham Library, Derwent Valley
The group meets in the back room at Whickham Library on the first Thursday of the month from 1.30pm until 2.30pm, looks through theatre brochures and chooses shows to go to together. Tickets are reserved in advance and paid for about three weeks before the show, and a minibus is arranged when needed. Regular venues are the Theatre Royal, the Sage and the Little Theatre in Gateshead, with occasional trips to the Playhouse at Whitley Bay, the Gala in Durham and screened performances from Covent Garden.
