The group leader leads walks of up to ninety minutes in local villages, talking about the social history, interesting buildings, stories and famous people along the way. The walks are mainly on level footpaths and numbers are limited to fifteen. Information about the venue and parking is sent to group members before each walk. It meets on the third Thursday of the month, from March until September. The branch lists the group as not currently accepting new members.
