Saxilby u3a was established in February 2011 and is based in Saxilby, a large village six miles north west of Lincoln on the north bank of the Fossdyke Navigation, originally a Roman canal linking the River Witham at Lincoln with the River Trent at Torksey. It belongs to the East Midlands region of u3as. Its interest groups cover games, crafts, sport, language, walking and days out, and meet at venues around the village.
