What you can join around Dartford · Everything local in Dartford
Meets: Weekly on Thursday evenings 7:15 PM
Where: Brent Methodist Church, Dartford
The group shares an enthusiasm for classical music, meeting every Thursday evening at 7.15pm at Brent Methodist Church in East Dartford. Classical is defined broadly, as music of high quality that has stood the test of time, which can take in well known popular songs, some jazz and some lighter pieces, though the focus is generally on the more serious works and is not restricted to the popular classics. Members have presented music from the Crusades as well as less well known works by familiar and unfamiliar composers. The group leader compiles members' programmes in advance and prints them for distribution at meetings.
- Newcomers New members are welcome to present their own programmes, with music of their choice
- Who it is for Anyone who enjoys classical music
