What you can join around Wantage · Everything local in Wantage
Meets: Monthly on Wednesday mornings 10:00 am 3rd Monday in the month
Where: Members' home, Wantage
A monthly group that reads and considers one or two poems in English, from the sixteenth century to the twentieth, with an emphasis on reading aloud and on noticing what poets do with words, their form, rhythm and rhyme. Poets who might come up include Shelley, Browning, Hardy, Keats, Donne, Marvell, Blake, Wordsworth, Frost, Yeats, Owen and Shakespeare. It meets monthly at 10am at a member's home. Two different days of the week are given for the meeting, so it is worth checking which one applies.
Part of Wantage & Grove u3a. Joining is through membership.
