What you can join around Honiton · Everything local in Honiton
Meets: Monthly on Tuesday mornings 10:30 am 3rd Tuesday of the month
Where: ZOOM Meeting, Honiton
Members each choose three or four poems to contribute, reading most of them aloud themselves and sharing recordings on screen for the others. Every month has a theme and members look for poems that fit within it, however loosely; recent themes have included Nature, Power and Travel. This is not a scholarly study of poetry but a thoroughly enjoyable swapping of verse. Meetings are on the third Tuesday of the month at 10.30am by video call, planned for an hour but often running longer as there are always plenty of interesting poems.
- Newcomers The group would welcome a few new members, and anyone who prefers can sit in on a meeting as an observer first.
