The group meets outdoors to look around and draw what its members see, usually in or near places where they can also get a cup of tea or a light lunch. There is no teaching as such, but members learn from each other, and sketching in company can feel more comfortable than going it alone. It meets monthly at a location arranged for each outing, with no meeting in August.
- Newcomers The group is open to all levels of artistic skill, including beginners.
- What to bring Members bring their own materials and a rigid sketch pad, and can work in any medium they prefer.
