Members take it in turn to give a talk of about thirty minutes on a financial subject, followed by a general discussion. Recent talks have covered how the concept of money has evolved over the centuries, the cost and sustainability of pensions, inheritance tax, and inequality of income and wealth between classes and between nations. The group meets on the second Thursday morning of the month, except in August, from 10am until noon in the Jubilee Room at the Otford Parish Council offices, opposite the main car park in Otford and next to the school.
