Where: The Winemaker's Pub, Goudhurst
Mah Jong, which originated in nineteenth century China, is a tile based game of skill, strategy and luck played by three or four players, who draw and discard tiles until they can form fourteen tiles into four sets and a pair, or complete one of the special hands. It is not a complex game and there is no gambling. The group meets on the second Monday of the month from 10am until noon at The Winemaker's Pub.
- Newcomers Beginners are very welcome, and only three terms need to be learned to start playing.
- What to bring A sheet describing the special hands is given out.
- Cost, as stated 25 Aug 2026 Members are asked to buy a drink to thank the pub for providing the space.
