Long Eaton and District u3a runs 36 groups around Long Eaton.

Long Eaton and District u3a was established in 2007 and offers a wide variety of leisure and study activities for people who are not in full time work. There is no lower age limit, no qualifications are required and none are given. The branch is run entirely by volunteers and has over 40 activity groups. A monthly meeting is held on the third Wednesday of the month, except August, with a guest speaker, a social event or a display from one of the groups. Joining any interest group requires full paid up membership of the branch first.
