East Medway u3a runs 21 groups around East Medway.

East Medway u3a is an organisation for people who are no longer working full time. It is run by a committee elected by its members and belongs to the national u3a network, whose motto is Learn, Laugh, Live, within the Kent region. The branch holds a main monthly meeting with a speaker at St Paul's Church, Parkwood Green, and runs about twenty five interest groups, which give members the chance to learn or improve a wide range of skills in a relaxed, social setting. Members also receive a monthly newsletter carrying news of the groups. The branch keeps in touch with members by email, including in the event of a cancellation, and the committee is available at every main meeting for anyone who wants to discuss something in person.
