A member volunteers in advance to lead on a subject, which may be social, cultural, philosophical, humorous or anything else, introduces it for no more than ten minutes and then opens it out for the group to explore in more depth. The approach can be adapted as the group develops, according to members' wishes. It is complementary to the branch's current affairs group but different from it. Meetings are at 10.30am on the second Tuesday of the month at the Old Nelson.
