The u3a Singers are a choir of nearly 30 women and men singing mostly in three parts, soprano, alto and bass, with a repertoire that takes in musicals, pop and classical music. The aim is to have fun while making the best sound the choir can. It generally gives two concerts a year and sometimes sings at care homes and local festivals, and it holds a few social events including an annual garden party. The choir meets weekly on Thursdays at Havers Community Centre, arriving at 1.45pm for a 2pm start and finishing at 3.45pm.
