Branston & District u3a runs 23 groups around Branston.

Branston & District u3a was formed in 2004 to promote activities and ideas from members who had interests they wanted to pursue after retirement, and quickly grew into a vibrant community, enthusiastic and willing to share advice and experience. It covers an area from Branston, Washingborough, Heighington, Potterhanworth, Nocton and Metheringham and beyond, with a varied set of groups covering physical, educational and social activities. Monthly meetings are held at Branston Village Hall with a guest speaker, and the u3a celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2024.

Your local paper

Hearabouts

Stay connected with Branston

A local paper for your patch, delivered by email. Who's just started up, what's in season, when the markets are on, what's on this month, and the odd story about how a place like yours keeps its money close to home.

Good news, mostly. There's enough of the other kind about.

Just the district, TQ9, never your full address.

Your postcode does one more thing. It's a show of hands for your own patch. Every signup tells the bakers, growers and makers nearby that their neighbours are behind them, and that count is what convinces the next one to put themselves on the map. More of us backing local means more to buy, closer to home.

We haven't sent the first one yet. Sign up now and you'll be there for it.
