Barn dancing that takes in both English folk dances, danced for centuries at weddings, harvests and other celebrations, and the more formal country dances of the landed classes. Dances are walked through first, then danced to the music with a little prompting from the caller. It meets every Wednesday afternoon from 1.45pm until 4pm at St John's Parish Hall in Meads Street.
