Art Discovery

The group's primary aim is to improve members' knowledge of art and art history by sharing what they learn, staying open to art in all its forms rather than limiting presentations to particular periods or styles. Each member hosts a monthly meeting in turn, on the third Monday of the month from 2pm until 3.30pm in members' own homes, and presents a favourite artist, with questions and discussion afterwards. The group also attends art events with members of other u3a art history groups. It is very sociable and enthusiastic, and keeps a shared cloud folder of information that new members may find helpful.
