What you can join around Buxton · Everything local in Buxton
Meets: Weekly on Wednesday mornings 10am to noon – except Easter, Christmas and Summer school holidays.
Where: Buxton Fire Station, Buxton
A supportive, friendly art group at Buxton Fire Station, which the group describes as ideally suited to the work: easy access, light, well equipped and comfortable, with parking readily available. Members share their learning around art themes and topics introduced regularly, though all of them are optional and members address them in their own way, or not at all. Some sketch and chat while others take on larger, longer projects, in a range of media excluding oils. Trips to galleries are sometimes organised alongside the branch's other art group. There are no sessions over the Easter, Christmas and summer school holidays.
- Newcomers The group currently has spaces and a warm welcome awaiting new members.
- Who it is for Anyone who wants to make art, in any medium except oils.
Part of Buxton & District u3a. Joining is through membership.
