Mantel Farm
Mantel Farm is a smallholding in the East Sussex countryside near Battle, established in 2002 in a converted chicken shed. It keeps bees, chickens and pigs, and its shop has grown to sell beekeeping equipment, animal feeds, local produce and chicken housing alongside wild bird seed and winter fuel. The farm also runs a programme of garden farming, rural skills, beekeeping and sustainable living courses taught in small groups. Visitors can hire its garden-canopy venue, and the farm boards rabbits, chickens, ducks, guinea pigs and quail while their owners are away.
