Margate Mushrooms
Margate Mushrooms grows gourmet mushrooms in four containers on a wheat farm in Thanet, having started in a spare-room greenhouse during lockdown. The business sells fresh mushrooms alongside dual-extract tinctures, capsules and tea blends made from lion's mane, shiitake, cordyceps and reishi. Grow-your-own pink and grey oyster kits round out the range. It trades at farmers' markets across Margate, Cliftonville, Birchington and Bleak House.
