Liz Whiteside Studio
Liz Whiteside weaves tapestry art, rugs and home accessories at Bbox Studios in Newcastle upon Tyne. Working on looms from a pocket loom to a twelve-shaft floor loom, she builds each piece slowly with colour-blended yarns and her own designs, known in tapestry as cartoons. Her collection includes framed tapestries such as 'Yin and Yang' and the 'Unmapped' series, handwoven rugs, Scandinavian-inspired cushions and greeting cards. She also teaches tapestry weaving online and in person.
