Ash & Plumb
In a rural workshop in the South Downs near Brighton, Barnaby Ash and Dru Plumb turn sculptural wooden vessels. Each is hand-turned from a single piece of sustainably sourced, unseasoned oak, its final form shaped by the organic grain of the wood. Drawing on ancient and classical forms, the pair reimagine them in a contemporary, raw style. Their work has been shown through Sarah Myerscough Gallery.
