The Ottershaw Potter
Ioanna hand builds terracotta at her home studio on Brox Road in Ottershaw, trading as The Ottershaw Potter. Her designs are made for indoor and outdoor use, and she also fires other people's work through a kiln service for pottery made at home. Hand-building techniques are taught in small groups at weekly classes and one-off workshops, open to any age or ability. The studio opens to visitors during Surrey Artists Open Studios, where friends show paintings, prints and pine needle weaving alongside the pottery.
