What you can join around Wyre · Everything local in Wyre
Meets: Monthly on Wednesday afternoons 2:30 pm 2nd Wednesday of the month
Where: Carleton Memorial Hall, Wyre
The group sings together for the pleasure of it, mainly but not exclusively 60s and 70s pop music. It is not a choir and it does not matter whether members can sing in tune: the words are on screen, so there is nothing to memorise, and the backing track is turned up to disguise any wrong words or off notes. There is a summer recess, with no meetings in July or August. The group meets at 2.30pm on the second Wednesday of the month at Carleton Memorial Hall.
- Newcomers If you sing along to the radio on your own, in the car or in the kitchen, this is the group for you.
Part of Wyre u3a. Joining is through membership.
