Meets: Monthly on Tuesday afternoons 1:30 pm 2nd Tuesday
Where: The Blue Bell Inn, Sunderland
Each member chooses two poems on a topic agreed beforehand, and these are read and discussed, prompting reminiscences, discussion and some laughs. Members enjoy looking through books for something appropriate. The venue is pleasant and comfortable and hot drinks are available. It meets at The Blue Bell Inn on the second Tuesday of each month at 1.30pm, served by the 23, E6, 18 and E2 buses, with car parking at the rear.
- Newcomers One regular attendee first came along simply to see what the group was about, admitting to never having opened a poetry book since school days.
