Meets: Monthly on Tuesday afternoons 2:45 pm Third Tuesday of the month
Where: St Theresa’s Parish Centre, Stansted Mountfitchet
Practical IT workshops for people who find modern technology frustrating or worrying, rather than for confident users. The sessions are being set up by a self taught programmer who has spent recent years running down to earth workshops for people who do not want to be online, or who feel embarrassed at not understanding it. Subjects on offer include mobile phones, email, broadband, home networks and wifi, online banking and buying, streaming, video calling apps, travel technology, music and video editing, and how to avoid the scams often aimed at older people. The group meets at St Theresa's Parish Centre on the third Tuesday of the month at 2.45pm.
- Newcomers Sessions can be taken singly or as a whole course, as a refresher or for the first time. Anyone interested is asked to say so and will be contacted.
