The group visits gardens for pleasure, learning where it can about how each garden came about and the personalities behind it. Visits are timed to see gardens at their best and take in the gardens of stately homes, botanical collections, private gardens open under Scotland's Garden Scheme, allotments, community gardens and gardens created with wellness in mind, with indoor meetings in the depths of winter. It was established in October 2019 and usually goes out on the second Wednesday of the month in the morning. Outings are being kept to gardens closer to home for the time being, to hold down travel costs.
Part of Paisley and District u3a. Joining is through membership.
