Beer Tasting

The group meets at the Tap and Bottles in Southport, a pub with a nationwide reputation among beer enthusiasts and highly rated by CAMRA, where the craft beer from small producers changes between visits. Members drink a half pint from each of the pumps on the bar, or a third of a pint for the stronger ales, with each beer researched and described in detail by the group's cicerone, and finish with a sample of the night's favourite. Other establishments and festivals are visited as well. Meetings are at 7pm on the third Tuesday of the month. The group is currently at capacity, though there is a waiting list.
