The Amblers cater for people who cannot walk very far and only walk slowly, so there are no stiles to clamber over and no steep hills. Walks always start at a place where the group can have a meal, last about an hour and a half, and often follow canal towpaths, riverside paths or the sea front at Morecambe, occasionally going as far as Garstang. Members take turns in pairs to organise the walks, and the group has a meal together afterwards. The walk starts at 11am on the second Tuesday or Wednesday of the month.
