Where: CMH – Crookham Memorial Hall, Fleet
Chicago scoring bridge played at tables of four, with no tuition, as a chance to practise bridge skills in a friendly setting where members can talk through the moves to consolidate what they have learned. It is a natural follow on from the branch introduction and beginners courses. The group meets most Wednesday afternoons from 2pm until 4pm at Crookham Memorial Hall, apart from the first Wednesday of the month, when the hall is used by another group.
- Who it is for Open to anyone who plays ACOL bridge and is prepared to bid and play the system taught by the branch. It suits players who are reluctant to join the more experienced and competitive duplicate groups. Partners are not needed, membership is limited to 32 players at eight tables, and a waiting list is kept when demand is high.
