Where: Eastbourne Central
A monthly series of meetings on British ceramics from 1750 to 1850, the period in which the ceramics in use today were developed. The programme starts with Chinese imports and the early English porcelain factories in London, follows the industry as it spread around the British Isles, and ends with the mass produced fine ceramics that saturated the market in Victorian times. It meets on the second Thursday of the month from 2.30pm until 4pm at a venue in Old Town, on the 1 and 1a bus routes. The group leader gives the address.
