What you can join around Cupar · Everything local in Cupar
Meets: Monthly on Wednesday mornings 10:00 am-11:30 am 3rd Wednesday each month
Where: Members' own homes, Cupar
The creative writing group meets at a member's home in Cupar on the third Wednesday of the month from 10am until 11.30am. The format is simple: at the end of each session the group chooses the theme for next month's piece, and members email their piece to the others by the Sunday evening beforehand so everyone has time to give it due attention. At the meeting members read their pieces if they wish and the others review them, with honesty and respect the key to the review. The group then tries to make time for a short piece of impromptu writing by each member on a random topic, read and reviewed there and then. Inexperienced as the members are, they are working their way through the u3a creative writing handbook for guidance.
